DESCRIPTION
"Billy Smith" is a captivating, low-budget horror/thriller film that delves into the tale of a man who admits to a murder found in the woods, all while concealing malevolent intentions of his own. This project emerged from the fervor and ingenuity of writers, actors, and crew members maneuvering through the obstacles posed by the COVID-19 lockdowns. It stands as a tribute to perseverance and the love for narrative craft. Overcoming the challenges of virtual teamwork amid lockdown constraints, the team's resolve triumphed, and filming kicked off promptly following the implementation of safety measures.
WHAT DID WE DO?
We managed the entire production process, from meticulous planning to seamless post-production.
With budget constraints in mind, we meticulously scheduled shoots, often filming up to three scenes per day over a ten-day period.
Our responsibilities included location scouting, assembling the crew, and coordinating travel and accommodations.
Director Joshua Blewitt's vision aimed to elevate the film's quality, incorporating elaborate movements and techniques to maximize impact and learning opportunities for future projects.
Under Joshua's direction, our team brought the narrative to life, culminating in a captivating feature film experience.
Post-production was expertly handled by Production Haus, with editing overseen by Will Simpson, ensuring a polished final product that captured the essence of "Billy Smith."
