Production Haus partnered with DCN Diving, a global leader in offshore diving and subsea services, to create a powerful documentary, “Below The Rig”, to showcase their groundbreaking work in the North Sea. This film highlights DCN’s cutting-edge "Microhabitat" system, an innovative solution for hyperbaric welding and underwater repairs in the demanding oil and gas industry.

As a production team trained and experienced in working offshore, we brought the expertise needed to operate safely in challenging environments. Collaborating closely with Earl Toups, a world-renowned expert in microhabitats for hyperbaric diving, we captured the technology, precision, and safety measures that make DCN Diving a leader in their field.

Filmed on location in the harsh North Sea environment, this documentary underscores DCN Diving’s expertise, their commitment to innovation, and their ability to meet the challenges of complex offshore operations. At Production Haus, we combine our creative storytelling skills with the certifications and training required to deliver high-quality productions in even the most demanding environments.

WHAT DID WE DO?

Collaborated with DCN Diving and Earl Toups to understand their project goals, target audience, and the technical details of the innovative "Microhabitat" system.

Deployed our skilled offshore-trained crew to the challenging North Sea environment, capturing the realities of subsea operations during an intensive 17-day shoot.

Documented the full subsea jacket repair process for an oil rig, showcasing every step from meticulous planning and preparation to the successful completion of the project.

Highlighted the unique benefits of the "Microhabitat" system, focusing on its safety and cost-effectiveness, and how it solves key challenges in the oil and gas industry.
